Is this Vinted listing actually a good price?

On its own, an asking price tells you nothing. The same €60 jacket is a bargain or a rip-off depending on what the comparable listings cost. What you need is the comparison, not the number.

Compare like with like

An asking price only means something next to listings that a buyer would consider instead of this one: the same brand, the same category, the same condition, and the same size when there are enough of them. Compare a worn jacket with a new one and the "bargain" disappears. Compare two sizes and you are pricing two different markets.

The percentile is the answer

Sellthru pulls the comparable active listings and places this one among them. The headline number is a percentile: "this price is above 50% of them" means half of the comparables are cheaper than this listing. A low percentile is a cheap listing. A high percentile is a seller asking more than the market.

Read it as a position, not a verdict. Above 50% with a wide spread can still be a deal for a rare item; the percentile tells you where the price sits, and the spread tells you how much the market itself disagrees.

p25, median, p75

If p25 and p75 are close together, the market agrees on a price and the listing is easy to judge. If they are far apart, the item is harder to price, and the condition and photos matter more than the number.

Add buyer protection

The price you see is not the price you pay. Buyer protection is added at checkout, and it changes with the price, so a small difference in asking price can flip which listing is actually cheaper. Sellthru reads Vinted's own protection figure and shows the total, so you compare totals with totals.

Doing it by hand

You can do all of this without any tool: open the search, filter to the same brand, category and condition, sort by price, and estimate where the listing falls. It works. It is also slow, and it is easy to leave the size filter off or compare the wrong condition without noticing. The panel does the same comparison on the listing page, in one glance.
